No one's ever admitted to this movie being fake. At points it feels fake and others it feels all too real. Who knows? Does it matter? In any case, Myles Berkowitz is NOT working today... So I hope he found love because his professional career is over!
At first, Miles was rather overbearing, and I see why he annoyed both his male and female friends. But then his earnestness began to grow on you. And one of the women was particularly sweet. Very satisfying movie. Well worth watching, especially for the single folks.
This is a light-hearted fun view of the experience that is dating in LA through the lens of a documentary film maker. It's not a bad film to watch but not one I would put high on your top 20 films to watch this year...at least not the top 20 you'd watch on your computer when you have nothing better to do.
IT is enjoyable, funny, some-what forced and slow at times but overall, you won't feel you wasted your time when you reach the real end!
